So much for loyalty.



I contacted Abbey today to inform them that I had been looking around for Buildings & Contents insurance and that I could get it on average ?230 cheaper.

The Abbey chap was simply not interested and told me that Abbey do not price match competitor quotes and advised that the only way to reduce my premium was to beef up my home security (fit an alarm) and not to take out the accidental damage option ??



Told him that I'd been banking with Abbey for 22 years, his response was for me to cancel and get it cheaper elsewhere.



Just switched to Halifax and just made a saving of ?241 - nice[img]http://images.**********************/images/forum_images/smilies/sport-smiley-001.gif[/img]



Will use this saving to get cavity wall insulation [img]http://images.**********************/images/forum_images/smilies/wink.gif[/img]
