He had to have a spinal fusion so he may be receiving some form of treatment for a very long time. He has not received treatment for about 6 months but recently had some numbness in his foot so he had to have a new set of MRI's etc.

For the time period that he has the policy in Montana, that will be primary. His own policy is always primary over one in which he is a dependent.
